Julia Ivory is a 23-year-old artist from Sydney known for her classically trained vocals, timeless arrangement style, and raw, alternative-pop songwriting. A graduate of a Bachelor of Music majoring in Songwriting at JMC Academy, Ultimo, she is influenced by artists like Olivia Rodrigo, Fiona Apple, and Lizzy McAlpine. Julia has become a rising voice in the Sydney music scene with standout performances at venues including Lazy Bones, Oxford Art Factory, The Lansdowne, and the 2023 SXSW Sydney Festival.

In May 2025, Julia expanded her creative horizons by attending the Los Angeles College of Music (LACM) in California, deepening her craft and global perspective. That same year, her reflective single "If Only I Knew"—exploring themes of forbidden love, escapism, and growth—earned her 2nd place in the LACM x ICMP International Songwriting Competition. Her next EP will contain 5 emotionally raw songs with timeless arrangements, focusing on vocal performance and lyrical vulnerability, and will be released soon.
